# Autopilot Sign document vault

Autopilot Sign now has its own customer-facing app, passwordless document retrieval, richer signing workflows, and safer shared customer records.

Version: 0.8.23
Published: 2026-08-14

## New features

- Autopilot Sign now runs as a separately deployable customer-facing app, with existing signing links handed across automatically.
- Signers can securely reopen historical completed documents with an email verification code—no account or password required.
- The document vault shows original PDFs, signed PDFs when available, and signing certificates in browser-friendly previews.
- Customers receive a receipt immediately after signing and a final completion email with document and certificate access once all signatures are recorded.
- Dealership staff can complete their signatures in a focused full-screen experience and optionally save their signature for later.

## Changes & improvements

- Public signing supports mobile identity handoff and structured New Zealand driver-licence capture without retaining licence images.
- Customer profiles are now shared across the dealership directory, and changes synchronize to linked deals.
- Login, passkey, and MFA flows now return users to the page they originally requested.
- Signing delivery now uses durable, retry-safe email processing and clearer action notifications.

## Bug fixes

- Tightened rate limits, code verification, signing transitions, storage access, and database privileges around public signing.
- Customer and joint-purchaser edits now update the canonical profile consistently across linked deals.
- PDFs now open in the browser instead of being blocked as forced downloads.
