# Deliver a deal

Prepare for handover, mark a deal Delivered and check its delivery date.

Mark a deal **Delivered** when the customer has received the vehicle and the handover is complete. This records the deal’s delivered status and delivery date.

## Open the deal

Open **Sales log** or **Vehicle Register** through the **workspace navigation**, or search for either page in the **Command Center**. To open the Command Center, select the Autopilot icon in the bottom-right corner.

Both navigation routes are available wherever you are in the workspace. Select the customer name in the list to open the deal page.

## Prepare for delivery

Review the deal’s details and complete the work your dealership requires before handover. Use the relevant sections on the deal page, including **Documents**, **Shipping**, **Invoicing** and **Compliance**.

In **Shipping**, the **Delivery timing** area includes **Estimated delivery**. Keep this date up to date while arranging handover; it determines the month in which the deal appears in the [Vehicle register](/docs/vehicle-register).

An estimated delivery date is a plan. Entering or changing it does not mark the deal **Delivered**.

## Mark the deal Delivered

1. Open the deal page once the customer has received the vehicle.
2. Select the **Status** field near the top of the page.
3. Choose **Delivered**.
4. Check that the deal’s status updates to **Delivered**.

Your access determines whether you can change the status. Manager approval and your dealership’s Delivered requirements still apply. If you cannot complete the change, ask an authorised manager for help.

## If required information is missing

Your dealership can require information before a deal becomes Delivered. If Autopilot identifies missing details, complete the listed information, save the changes and try again.

Read [Approval rules](/docs/approval-rules) for how these requirements work. Don’t record a delivery before the handover has actually happened.

## Check the delivery date

Changing the status to **Delivered** records the delivered date. Open **Shipping** and look under **Delivery timing** for **Delivered on** to check it.

If the deal was handed over earlier and someone recorded Delivered later, correct **Delivered on** to the actual date where your access allows it. Follow the **Override delivered date** confirmation. This date can only be set while the deal is Delivered.

Use [Deal history](/docs/deal-history) to review the recorded changes after delivery. The deal page remains available for reviewing the customer, vehicle and supporting documents.
