# Offboarding

Suspend or remove organisation and linked dealership access.

Organisation administrators can suspend someone’s access temporarily or offboard them across the organisation and every linked dealership. Open **Organisation → Security → Offboarding**.

## Find the person

Search by name, email or dealership. Use **All**, **Active**, **Suspended** or **Past** to narrow the list. If the first 100 matches are shown, refine your search.

Check the person’s name and email before changing access. The page prevents you from performing these actions on your own account.

## Suspend access temporarily

1. Select **Suspend access** beside an active member.
2. Optionally choose a future **End date** using your local time. Leave it empty to suspend until an administrator restores access.
3. Review the confirmation and select **Suspend access now**.
4. Complete identity verification if prompted and check the result.

Suspension blocks access to the organisation and every linked dealership, including through existing sessions. Roles and historical records are kept. When the suspension ends or an administrator restores access, the person’s current roles apply again.

## Restore suspended access

Find the person under **Suspended**, select **Restore access**, and confirm. Lifting the suspension does not bypass network or authentication requirements.

## Offboard someone

Select **Offboard** beside the person. Check the name and email, review the confirmation, then select **Offboard now**.

Offboarding removes their organisation and linked dealership memberships and revokes pending invitations for their email within that scope. Historical records are kept. Restoring a suspension is different from restoring memberships removed by offboarding.

## Check the result

A successful action updates the member’s status and shows a confirmation. If Autopilot cannot confirm the change, refresh to check their current access before trying again. Review recorded changes in the [Security activity log](/docs/organisation-security-activity/).

If the person should keep their membership and only needs a fresh sign-in, use [Active sessions](/docs/organisation-active-sessions/) instead.
