Set monthly targets

Set the dealership’s goals for a month, allocate them across sales channels, then review the individual salesperson targets. You need permission to edit targets; access to GP targets is controlled separately.

Choose the month

Open Targets, then Plan targets. Check the month at the top of the page and use the month arrows to select the month you want to plan.

Set dealership targets

Under Dealership target, enter the monthly goals for the metrics your dealership uses:

• Units: the target number of deals.
• Profiles: the profile target.
• GP: the gross profit target, where your account can edit it.

Start with the dealership totals before splitting them across channels.

Allocate targets across sales channels

Under Sales channel allocation, enter each included channel’s share of the dealership target. Review each metric separately: allocating units does not allocate profiles or GP for you.

Use the allocation summary at the bottom to compare the allocated total with the dealership target. Adjust any amount left to allocate or any allocation over the target to match the plan you intend.

If a channel is missing, check its inclusion in Targets → Settings or ask the person managing targets to check it.

Save the monthly plan

Select Save target plan and check for the saved confirmation. If an error appears, follow the message and save again.

To change the plan later, return to the same month, edit the values and save. Check the selected month before making changes so you don’t adjust a different month’s plan.

Review salesperson targets

The channel plan and each salesperson’s allocation are separate parts of planning. Open Team, choose a salesperson and review their targets.

Smart Targets uses historical sales mix to split saved channel targets across participating salespeople. Individual targets can also be adjusted manually where your account has access, using Edit targets and Save targets.
