# Track target progress

Review dealership, team and personal results against monthly targets.

Use **Targets** to review dealership coverage and each salesperson’s results against their monthly goals. Check both the selected month and the metric before comparing figures.

## Review dealership progress

Open **Targets → Overview**. Review the unit, profile and gross profit coverage available to your account.

- **Delivered** represents completed deliveries against the unit target.
- **Forecast** represents expected deliveries for the month, rather than completed deliveries.
- **Profile coverage** compares the profile forecast with the profile target.
- **Gross profit coverage** compares covered GP with the GP target, where your account has access to those figures.

Use the coverage charts to see how the position has changed. A forecast reaching the target does not mean all of the expected deliveries have been completed.

## Check an individual salesperson

```
1. Open **Team** in the Targets sidebar.
2. Select the salesperson’s name.
3. Check the month shown on their page. Use the month arrows if you need a different available month.
4. Review their **Deals**, **Profiles** and **Gross profit** results and targets, where visible.
5. Review **Targets by channel** to see the breakdown across sales channels.
The progress indicators compare each result with its target. Pace messages show whether progress is ahead of or behind the pace for that point in the month.
Use the names in **Team** to move between salespeople. Accounts restricted to their own targets may open directly into their personal page instead of the team view.
## Read results and targets together
A result and a target answer different questions: the result is the recorded activity, while the target is the goal. **No target** or **No target set** means there is no configured goal to compare against; it does not by itself mean there has been no activity.
Deal counts, completed deliveries and forecasts are different measures. Check the metric label rather than expecting the salesperson’s Deals result to match the overview’s Delivered figure.
## Adjust a target when needed
If you have editing access, use **Edit targets** from the salesperson’s page, review the channel values and select **Save targets**. For dealership and channel goals, use **Plan targets** instead.
Read [Set monthly targets](/docs/set-monthly-targets) for manual planning or [Use Smart Targets](/docs/use-smart-targets) for the historical salesperson split.
## If something looks missing
Check the month, target participation and your account’s access. GP figures and GP targets have separate permissions, so seeing one does not necessarily mean you can see or edit the other. Ask the person managing targets to check the configuration if the target or salesperson you expect is missing.
