Sales Log views and filters
How to use saved views, filters, search, grouping, columns, and table layout.
Views let you shape the Sales Log around the way you work. You can keep as many views as you need, each with its own columns, filters, grouping, sort, and layout.
That matters because teams do not all read the Sales Log the same way. A salesperson might want a focused view of their own deals. A manager might want month-to-date performance grouped by salesperson or channel. Admin might want missing details, delivery work, or finance follow-up. Views let each person keep the version of the Sales Log that makes sense for the job in front of them.
Where to find it
Open Sales Log.
Use the view selector beside the period and channel controls. Use Filter, Search deals..., column headers, and the table tools from the Sales Log toolbar.
How it works
Saved views
Saved views store the table setup you are using, including columns, sort, filters, grouping, pinned columns, column widths, text wrapping, alignment, density, grid lines, and export settings.
You can create multiple views for different workflows instead of rebuilding the table each time. For example, you might keep one view for your current month, one for deliveries, one for finance follow-up, and one for deals that need cleanup.
From the view selector, you can use:
- Built-in views
- New view from current
- New blank view
- New from gallery
- Duplicate
- Rename
- Set as default
- Delete
Built-in views can be adjusted for your account, but they cannot be renamed or deleted.
Use New view from current when you have already shaped the table and want to save that setup.
Use New blank view when you want to start from a wide-open table and build up from there.
Use New from gallery when you want a prebuilt starting point. The gallery contains templates for common day-to-day Autopilot workflows, such as month review, salesperson focus, channel review, delivery work, finance follow-up, and missing-detail cleanup. Some templates ask you to choose a salesperson or channel before creating the view.
Filters
Use Filter to add rules by column. Filter types depend on the column:
- Text fields can use contains, is, or is not.
- Select fields can use is or is not.
- Number fields can use equals, greater than, or less than.
- Date fields can use is, before, or after.
- Boolean fields can be true or false.
Filter chips appear above the table when filters are active. Use the chip to edit or clear the filter.
Grouping
Use a column header menu to Group by this column.
Grouping is useful when you want the same rows split into working sections, such as by salesperson, sales channel, status, finance status, delivery date, or rebate status.
When you group by a date column, Autopilot can group dates into useful date buckets. The active grouping appears above the table so you can adjust or clear it.
Search
Use Search deals... for quick text search across the visible table.
Search works with the current period, channel, view, and filters.
Column header menus
Use a column header menu to sort, filter by visible values, hide the column, pin it, resize it, change text wrapping, change alignment, or group by that column.
You can also drag columns to reorder them.
Table layout
Use the table tools to switch density, table-wide text wrapping, grid lines, full screen, and advanced column options.
Advanced column options let you choose which columns display, which columns export, where columns are pinned, and how columns are sized or aligned.
You do not need to learn every option before using views. Start with the columns, filters, and grouping you care about, then adjust smaller details like wrapping, alignment, width, and grid lines when the table needs to fit the way you work.
Important details
Views are personal
Sales Log views are saved to your account for the active dealership.
Current filters affect exports
When you export Current view rows, the file uses the rows visible after the current search and filters.
Grouping affects Detailed Excel
If the table is grouped, Detailed Excel keeps grouped sections in the export.
Troubleshooting
A filter is hiding rows
Look for filter chips above the table and clear the ones you no longer need.
A column disappeared
Open Advanced column options and turn the column back on, or switch to another saved view.
