Set up your profile
Personal setup for anyone joining an Autopilot dealership.
Set up your profile so your name, photo, contact details, and account preferences are correct across Autopilot.
First login
When you first join a dealership, Autopilot opens a welcome flow before the dashboard.
The flow asks you to:
- add your full name
- upload a profile photo, if you have one ready
- add a New Zealand phone number
- read a short overview of how deals move through the workspace
Your full name appears on deal cards, team lists, and leaderboard views. Profile photos must be PNG, JPEG, or WebP files up to 5 MB.
When you finish the flow, Autopilot marks your user setup as complete and opens the dashboard.
Where to change it later
Use the avatar menu in the top-right corner, then open Settings.
The Profile panel lets you update:
- profile photo
- full name
- email address
- phone number
- sales participation, if your role can manage it
You can also open the same panel from Dashboard -> Settings -> Profile.
Email changes
Changing your email address sends a confirmation email to the new address. The change is not complete until the confirmation step is finished.
Phone numbers
Use a New Zealand phone number. During first login, Autopilot stores it in a clean international format. In profile settings, you can also clear the phone field if you do not want one saved.
Sales participation
Owners, managers, and admins can toggle whether their own account participates in sales. This controls whether you appear as an active seller.
If you need to change another team member's sales participation, use the Team settings instead.
Other personal settings
From Settings, the account panels worth checking next are:
- Notifications: choose which email and in-app updates you want.
- Security: manage password, two-factor authentication, passkeys, and active device sessions.
Sales Log views and saved filters have their own setup guide.
If you are setting up the dealership
If you are the owner creating the dealership, start with Getting started, then use the Post-setup checklist.
