Customising the write-up sheet
Edit the printable A4 customer sheet — sections, fields, branding, signatures.
The customer write-up sheet is the A4 page your customer signs to commit to a deal. It needs to feel like your dealership's paperwork, not a generic template.
Settings → Forms → Write-up sheet.
What you can change
The editor lays out the print sheet exactly as it'll print, with controls for every section.
For each section:
- Toggle visible / hidden.
- Drag to reorder.
- Rename the section title ("Customer details" → "Buyer information").
For each field within a section:
- Toggle visible / hidden on the print sheet (independent of whether it's on the deal form).
- Reorder fields within a section.
Custom text
Three blocks you can edit at the top and bottom of every sheet:
- Header subtitle — shown under your dealership name (e.g. "Vehicle Order Form").
- Acknowledgement text — the boilerplate above the signatures (e.g. "I acknowledge that I have read and accept the conditions of sale...").
- Footer text — your terms-and-conditions in fine print, repeated on every page.
Signatures
Two signature blocks are on the sheet by default — customer and manager. Each has:
- A signature line.
- A printed-name line.
- A date line.
Toggle either off if you do everything digitally and don't need physical signatures. Or toggle both off for an internal-only sheet.
Branding
The sheet inherits your dealership's logo and accent colour from Settings → Dealership → Branding. It's not separately styleable — change the brand once, every sheet picks it up.
If you'd rather not have an accent colour at all (some print shops can't do colour), set the accent to black or grey.
Live preview
The editor shows the sheet rendered with sample data on the right. Make a change, see it instantly. Useful for checking page breaks and spacing before saving.
If you want to preview with a real deal, save your changes first, then open any deal and click Print — your changes apply immediately.
Multi-page handling
If a deal has lots of fields (e.g. you've added many custom fields), the sheet may run onto a second page. The header and footer repeat on every page. The signatures always go at the end, on whatever page they fall on.
You can force a section to start on a new page by toggling Start new page on that section.
Per-channel layouts (deferred)
Right now there's one layout per dealership. Wholesale and retail dealers occasionally want different sheets per channel — that's planned but not yet built.
What you can't change
- The page size — always A4. Letter / Legal / custom sizes aren't supported.
- The font — set globally. Tell us if you have a brand-required font and we'll see what we can do.
- Inserting custom HTML or images mid-page — the editor is form-style, not free-form layout.
