The customer write-up sheet

The printable A4 sheet your customer signs — branded, customisable, ready for the printer.

Last updated 20 June 2026

Every deal has a printable write-up sheet — A4, branded, with signature blocks for the customer and the manager. It's what you hand to the customer for signature and keep on file.

How to print one

From any deal's detail page, click Print write-up sheet (or go to /print-deal/[id]). The print page opens in a clean layout with no app chrome — straight to the print dialog.

You can also link your customer to it (read-only) from the deal detail page, useful if they want to look it over before coming in.

What's on it

The default layout has six sections:

  1. Header — your logo, dealership name, deal number, date.
  2. Customer details — name, address, phone, email, licence number.
  3. Vehicle — make, model, year, colour, VIN, kilometres, condition.
  4. Pricing — sale price, deposit, trade-in allowance, settlement, finance amount, total.
  5. Trade-in details (if applicable) — trade vehicle, allowance, settlement.
  6. Special conditions — free-text section for anything bespoke.
  7. Signatures — customer signature, manager signature, dates.

The footer carries your terms-and-conditions text, repeated on every page if the sheet runs onto a second page.

Customising the sheet

Settings → Forms → Write-up sheet.

You control everything in the layout:

  • Toggle any section on or off.
  • Toggle individual fields visible or hidden.
  • Reorder sections (drag and drop).
  • Rename section titles ("Customer details" → "Buyer information").
  • Customise the title, subtitle, acknowledgement text, and footer.
  • Hide signature blocks entirely (if you do everything digitally).

Your changes preview live in the editor. Hit Save and every new print sheet uses the new layout.

Branding

The sheet inherits your dealership's branding settings — logo, accent colour, trading name. Change them in Settings → Dealership → Branding and the print sheet picks them up next time you print.

Per-sales-channel layouts (deferred)

If you sell wholesale and retail and want different write-up sheets for each, that's coming. For now there's one layout per dealership. Tell us if it becomes a blocker.

Auto-print on save (deferred)

Right now you click Print to open the dialog. There's a planned setting to auto-trigger the print dialog when a deal is saved. Until that ships, it's one extra click.
